About Us
Overview
Dobbs Ferry Middle School builds on the fundamentals taught at the elementary school to prepare students for high school. Small class size results in close student/teacher interaction and fosters a healthy environment, suited to the needs of early adolescence. Our teachers motivate students through a rigorous standards-based curriculum.
Students also have options that allows them to explore subjects at a deeper level. Other features include:

Students are encouraged to take an active role in pursuing their interests. In addition to our award-winning Destination Imagination teams, band, chorus and orchestra, which build on their elementary school experiences, the middle school offers a full range of after school clubs and sports teams.
