Middle School "Zoom Lens"

Not all great science happens in the lab! Sixth grade students took to the adjacent baseball field to participate in scientific discoveries which showcased various chemical reactions. Among them, color changing milk, Elephant's Toothpaste, non-Newtonian fluid (ooblek), and the classic vinegar and baking soda. The activities were capped of with a Diet Coke and Mentos demonstration. The students had a great time getting their hands dirty with these hands-on experiments.

From the Middle School Principal

Dear Parents,

I have some exciting news to share with you… Dobbs Ferry Middle School has its own “official” Facebook page!  You will find the latest school news, photos, videos, calendar updates, fun links and much more. We ask that you please read the rules-of-engagement and be a positive role model when posting a comment on the Facebook page. It is there for students, staff, parents and community members to enjoy, and we hope that it gets people excited about our school and the wonderful events and activities happening in our classrooms and clubs!

So…get plugged-in and check out the new Middle School Facebook page at  Please hit the “Like” button if you like what you see. Because it is a “fan page” the school will not be able to access your personal Facebook page if you “Like” the page. You can also easily find our Facebook page via the Middle School website by clicking on the Facebook icon in the Principal’s Corner. You don’t have to be tech-savvy to use Facebook, just a fan of the Dobbs Ferry Middle School.
